Pennsylvania

On our recent road trip, we spent several days exploring this beautiful state. One of our destinations was Gettysburg. We stayed in this historic city for four days. We would love to go back again. One of the highlights was our personal tour with a Gettysburg Licensed Battlefield Guide. To read about our experience, click here.

We also visited the National Civil War Museum in Harrisburg.  This museum is really well-done.  It is comparable to the museum at the Visitor’s Center at the Gettysburg National Battlefield Park.

We also spent a few hours in Hershey.  I would love to come back here to visit Hershey Park, but we had a wonderful time at Chocolate World.  The ride-through tour is worth a stop, and it’s free!

We hope to return to Pennslyvania to have more adventures soon!
