Make Money Blogging!

I have been having such a great time blogging that I thought I would share one of the best decisions I’ve made to contribute to my success.  I want to tell you about a blogging course that I believe has made all the difference–the Blogging Blastoff 2.0 course offered by Heather and Pete Reese.  Before I learned about the course, I had no idea I could make money blogging.  I’m so grateful I learned about this course!

Why should you enroll in Blogging Blastoff 2.0?

Heather Reese has been blogging for over ten years, and now she has a wonderful course to teach you the ins and outs of making money with your blog.  She and Pete teach you everything they have learned over that time so that you avoid making mistakes, especially early in your blogging career.  They are completely transparent in telling you exactly what works for them; they even give you real examples from their blogging business so you can follow their example and make money blogging.

And that is the key–you must think of your blog as a business if you want to make real money!

You simply have to make some investments in time and money, and this has been one of the best money investments I have made.  I took the course in July of 2017, and I have been blown away by the things I’ve learned. They teach you what networks to join, and they explain some of the business behind the business.  They highlight social media best practices, and they show you how to set up your website for money-making results.

It’s true, you may be able to find all of this information for free, but this course gives you all the tools you need all in one place. You can access this information for two years after you finish the course!  You also get the opportunity to network with your classmates and anyone in future courses, too. I still participate in discussions with former and current classmates.

The classes begin toward the end of every month.  If you need to start a blog from scratch, why not start with the free blogging course offered when you click here.

If you are serious about making money blogging, this class is a must!  I am now an affiliate for the course.  Yes, I believe in the class. I had sponsored work in travel the last week of July the first year, and I had an interview as a direct result of joining one of the professional networks.  In November 2017, I submitted a sponsored blog post that earned me $700 and a new set of tires. And you know what else is amazing?  I’d only been blogging for seven months!  I’ve had countless other sponsored posts and wonderful experiences.

I’m in my third year of blogging, and I still believe in this course.  I had two sponsored trips last summer, and I am looking to get things going again as the country begins to reopen. As a teacher, my life is all about balance, but I enjoy the extras that blogging has brought to my life and to my family’s life.

I believe in the course so much that I am now an affiliate!

Thank you so much! Even if you don’t use my link, Heather and Pete have a lot of great information to share. It’s basically ten years of trial and error put into a 30-day course for you. It’s been so helpful!

  2. Interesting! Blogging is truly just a hobby for me at the moment. But if I ever decide to make the leap and take my blog to the next level, I will definitely keep this in mind. Thanks for sharing your experience! I hope you will share more of your success stories down the road with us, too.

Thank you, that is really sweet. If you decide to take the leap, Heather and Pete are the way to go, and I’m not just saying that because I am an affiliate. I’m an affiliate because I know what they teach works!

  3. I did Pete and Heather’s free introductory course earlier in the year and found them to be so knowledgable and supportive. You really feel like they genuinely want everyone to succeed! I had been contemplating the paid course so it’s good to hear that you’re finding it worthwhile. Will definitely use your link if I decide to go for it!

It really has been great. I wake up every day and click into the class to do today’s lesson. Then I apply what I’ve learned to my blog or social media.

  4. I’m so glad you wrote this. I’ve been thinking of taking this course and you’ve pretty much sold me! The 10 day challenge was super fun and helpful so I’m sure the course is even meatier!

Probably going to wait til January, but I’ll use your link 🙂

    See you on IG!

The course really is awesome! The December course opens up tomorrow. I’ll update the post after it opens up.

  5. Wow! You’ve only been blogging for 5 months and you’re already seeing this kind of success? Congrats! I’m interested in taking the course next year, and this post really helped me. I’d love to hear more about your 5-month blogging journey from newbie to profitable course graduate 🙂

Thanks for the comment! I realized I needed to update this post a little. I’ve now been blogging for seven months, and I am still excited to be blogging. I have cut back a little since I’m a high school teacher and speech coach, so my life is a little busy right now. But I still try to post once a week. I haven’t applied to a lot of sponsored projects right now, but I hope to resume soon to get ready for summer when I’m not teaching. I am so thankful for this course, and I think it will help anyone who follows the advice and wants to be a successful blogger. The course has certainly put me on a faster track to success and given more me opportunities!

I’ve been interested in blogging. Never started a blog just some random things that I wanted to blog about. Would this be benifiical if I have no clue as to where I should start?

If you think you’d like to monetize your blog someday, I would really consider doing the course. I would start out with the 5-day Starter Course. This free course gets you into the groups on Facebook, and you set things up step-by-step. I did that course first myself. A little later, I felt ready to invest in the next phase.

If you just want a journal type of blog, then you may want to consider some free options. The above method does require you to purchase a domain and a hosting service. The recommended host in the course now is Bluehost, but I used Siteground, and they have been awesome. Either way, it really just comes out to a few dollars a month–under $5. There are some other great tools that I subscribe to for a fee, but that would be up to you if you want to do that. I also purchased logos when I started, and I think I spent around $30. I also eventually purchased a theme, but I didn’t do that for about six months.

I just thought I would mention those costs. I’ve made all that investment back and then some, although it does take a little while before the money comes in. I mostly earned free products starting out. It all comes down to what you hope to accomplish in blogging. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Here is the link to the free 5-day course.
