I recently took a short three-day trip that included a stay in a historic hotel built in 1886, and I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to try out some travel accessories and review them.  Here are three travel accessories that I loved, and I know you’ll love them, too! Disclosure: I received free products from Chester, Beauty and the Box, and Doctor Plotka’s Mouthwatchers.  As always, all opinions are honest and my own. Chester Carry-On Luggage I’m just going to come right out and say it–this is my favorite piece of luggage I’ve ever used!  This carry-on bag by Chester has some really great features, and I love that it comes in pink.  It’s super lightweight, which comes in really handy when you’re climbing stairs in a historic hotel. The outer shell is hard, so I feel like my items inside are safe from damage.  It also has…

I’d like to thank @visitkc and Westin Kansas City Crown Center for sponsoring parts of our trip.  As always, all opinions are honest and our own. #HoWeDoKC If you’re planning a trip to Kansas City for your family, Crown Center should definitely be on your radar.  This complex is an amazing collection of attractions, shopping, restaurants, and lodging that you won’t want to miss.  You’ll also want to check out some of the worthwhile attractions nearby, so hang on tight.  I’ll explain what you need to know to have a great trip! When Jeff and I were planning a trip to the Black Hills, he insisted that we make a stop at Wall Drug in Wall, South Dakota.  I thought it was a little weird that he wanted to make a stop at a drug store, but little did I know that this is a place like no other.  Turns out, there are many reasons to stop at Wall Drug! This attraction seems to be in the middle of nowhere, but it seems that everyone traveling this way towards the Black Hills knows that a stop here is a must.  We actually planned a stop here overnight after we finished seeing Badlands National Park. First on the Wall Drug itinerary—posing with celebrities of the Wild West. This store has just about anything you can imagine for sale.  Rest assured, there are plenty of touristy trinkets to be found here!  We had a…
