We’d been dreaming of visiting Monument Valley for years, and as we planned a trip out west, I discovered the Monument Valley Dreamcatcher Evening Tour by Simpson’s Trailhandler Tours. We loved the idea of getting up close to the monuments, and we also wanted to experience the area through the lens of the Navajo people. Since this tour is in the evening, the temperatures promised to be better during our summer trip. And when we discovered that the tour would share Navajo culture through storytelling, dance, and food, we knew this was the tour for us. This trip was actually our second attempt at experiencing Monument Valley. Our first visit to the area was during Covid, and restrictions kept visitors out of Navajo Nation, and rightly so. If you’re spending time in St. Augustine, consider taking a tour of Flagler College, a liberal arts college originally known as the Ponce de Leon Hotel. This beautiful historic hotel sits in downtown St. Augustine, Florida, just a few blocks from the Atlantic Ocean. The history and architecture are worth a visit, and I’m so glad a spent a couple of hours here. When we drive to Walt Disney World in Orlando from Joplin, Missouri, we often take a few side trips on the way home. We often go to St. Augustine after a couple of weeks in Disney to relax and get some beach time in. We love the area, and there is so much to do. On one trip, I decided to take a Flagler College tour on my own. Family trips are wonderful, but every once in awhile, it’s okay to do something on your own. Jeff…
Why Red Boat Water Tours in St. Augustine? When we were planning our last trip to Florida, we knew we wanted to try some new things we’d never done before. After spending time in Disney, we like to take things a little slower in St. Augustine. We love staying on the beach, and St. Augustine has so many things to explore. Taking a dolphin tour in St. Augustine seemed like a fun adventure, so we looked at our options. We’d never tried a dolphin-viewing cruise. Not anywhere. After looking around the Internet, we decided to book a tour with Red Boats Water Tours. We chose the Dolphin Odyssey & Sightseeing tour, and I am so glad we did! It was easy to reserve online, and they were running a special, so be sure to check the website. We also needed a daytime cruise that was family-friendly since we had our…
